This "Tour" is Special, visitors are not usually welcome to visit a working farm. Aside from it interferring with their precious working hours it can be a distraction to busy workers. Jo, has a special relationship with the Growers Family and is warmly welcomed, with her guests, to be hosted by the owners. The following list is some of what makes this Tour so Special. All-inclusive: Departure and Return – We depart from Quay St Car Park (Down from River Cruz Café and toilet block) at 7.15 am for a 7.30 am (Sharp) departure. (An 8-hour day, approx.) • Tour departs Bundaberg in a comfortable air-conditioned bus. • Bottled water is provided. • Morning tea. • Our next stop will be a visit to a working farm. The owner will take us through the life of citrus fruit from growing to picking the fruit, washing and modern-day preparation for packing produce ready to travel to markets. The fruit is freighted in refrigerated trucks. • An “Outback delicious LUNCH”. • A short stroll around Gayndah before our next interesting stop.
