On SUNDAY 31st MAY 2026 we are heading out to experience the annual "Goomeri Pumpkin Festival" which is the largest Pumpkin Festival in the Southern Hemisphere! GOOMERI, is celebrating 30 years this year, 2026. Interestingly, it all came about because of the prolonged drought in the 1990's. Everyone was doing it tough, but because of the town's low morale a meeting was held to see what could be done. The PUMPKIN FESTIVAL was born!
